a review of 超时空接触

they do jodie so dirty with those plaid shorts. meta in the "less like science and more like science fiction" kinda way. they also make up for the plaid shorts by providing jodie excellent jeans later on. "run every frequency you can think of!" um wut?! "hydrogen times pi, told you!" lol srsly wut!!? then we move on to the jesus-freaks-and-nazis-ruin-everything phase of the movie. uh oh, more double entendre. occam's razor? holy hell. this is going so hard right now. jodie is basically playing the same character as in silence of the lambs, and it's great both times, if maybe a tad extra in this movie. omg now just the jesus freaks ruin eveything. no quarantine procedures, makes sense. honestly basically the same movie as interstellar but (a little) more interesting. (i might be rating them both a half star too high, who knows.) the seam of the door disappeared, wtf. they should have sent a poet. omg now human propaganda. if it wasn't so gloriously cheesy, i would def take off half a star for the human propaganda. wait what occam's razor again. this movie feels like it's eighteen hours long. i guess what i'm trying to say is this is nerdy and cheesy and fun and you can watch it if you want. <3
