a review of 走钢丝的人

super interesting story. told pretty competently, i guess. don't really like some of the recreations or the tone of some of the interviews. who paid for all these shenanigans? was 1984 the last year circus clowns could make a real living? lol at the whole ending. this guy (and most of the french i think) is truly deranged. what were any of these people's feelings during this? it's just like a light retelling of the plot and logistics for the most part. they spent like 20 minutes talking about themselves hiding from guards lol. maybe it just wasn't that deep? but also a good interviewer could have pulled more from the subjects.
