a review of 鬼入侵

stunning. exquisitely heartbreaking and terrifying. incredible use of time. super skillful storytelling pieced together from the perspective of different characters. all the parts told by the exact right character. pretty much all the characters are incredibly compelling and well acted. this is a total gem. cried so hard i could barely see like half of the whole show. absolutely flawless final episode. i am baffled how you could write a story this full of love and also at the same time so terrifying. never seen anything quite like it. easily one of the best pieces of visual art i've ever seen. nothing else to say. night night.
