kinda cool (and confusing and depressing) to see how tinder worked in 1787. gorgeous sets, costumes, filming locations. keira knightly was like eighteen or nineteen when this filmed, which is probably the most amazing aspect of the finished product. i sure as fuck didn't have nearly that much composure and maturity under my belt at that age. she's a force. this is probably the best thing i've seen her in. so glad we don't live like this anymore.
