a review of 太空生活

ok so this is a hard watch. ultimately probably not interesting enough to make it worth it. there is a lot of rape going on in this. not cool. there are times it looks really good, where the acting feels on point, where you are really locked in and yearning to know what comes ahead. and...it just never really comes together. there's some truly terrible acting, some scenes are pretty visually meh or even confusing, and plenty of it that's flat out boring. at the end of the day, i think it's yet another movie pretending it has something to say when it doesn't. baby mia is cool, and also lol that girl just plays her own ass insane self in every movie. dunno about the casting. bob pattinson started growing on me towards the end. kinda bizarre when andre 3000 is the runaway star of the movie despite having like twenty total lines. has hints of interstellar (both are boring) and also prospect (although prospect does far far more with far far less and is truly an incredible film). you can probably skip this one unless you just need to watch every space movie out there.
