a review of 拯救地球！

kinda wish i watched this before bugonia so i could have more thoroughly enjoyed the wacky, strange, kinky, campy vibes. i also think it's a hilarious and interesting premise. the thing is, the storytelling is kinda a chaotic mess. there's also the issue of this kinda being a cop drama. and the issue that this isn't really saying anything... aside from maybe humans are terrible and should be wiped out? whereas bugonia properly identifies that capitalism and the ultra wealthy are the bulk of the issue and doesn't deviate from that analysis. the rewrites in bugonia are sheer perfection. not to blaspheme or anything, but kinda glad this got remade. sorry to everyone who loves this.
