i hereby proclaim at the behest of our mad gay queen that all period pieces henceforth shall be bisexual and naughty. a visually exquisite filming location...goes a long, long way. incredible acting. beautiful visuals. compelling writing and story. the costumes and sets, what the biblically accurate fuck. the camera, holy hell...some of the shots froze me in my tracks. i'll definitely be watching this again someday. i don't even like period pieces...but i say with all my shriveled little heart that i adore this one.
