not glorifying this man or excusing his horrific (and racist) behavior in any way, but this man was clearly not sane and needed psychiatric care. sadly, our "justice" system is content with just murdering everyone who is inconvenient, either officially through the death sentence, or unofficially through sending them to a prison where their choice is between solitary confinement for the rest of their life (imagine not interacting with humans for the rest of your life) or 100% absolutely getting murdered in the general population. most likely, the prison pigs purposefully put him near someone they knew wanted to kill him...this is sadly fairly common. also remember that our "justice" system directly and indirectly murders more people each year than all the murderers out there. this district attorney is a total piece of shit. remember kids, district attorneys (yes even kamala harris) are fucking cops. abolish prisons. every last one. "if a man who is preoccupied with having sex with corpses, if a man who's drilling holes in the heads of human beings to try to keep them alive in a zombie-like state, doesn't have a psychiatric disorder, then i don't know what we mean by psychiatric disease. how many people does someone have to eat in milwaukee before they think you have a mental disease?" as far as this film, it has some interesting recordings of jeffrey himself confessing and a lot of really powerful interviews with his defense attorney. the film itself is not super artistic in any way, but it mostly works well to deliver the story.
