u-hauling? more like dead-man's-car-ing, am i right? yeah i dunnnooo. i think i'm over dramatized versions of real stories. why don't you just make a fucking documentary? or at least stay true to the story? i have no idea what parts of this are real and which parts aren't without researching it, and i think that's a terrible disservice to literally everyone portrayed. i hope there's a documentary about this so i can go figure things out. another reviewer said it best...casting christina ricci as a butch is a bold move. i wanted to like this sooo much, and just didn't. also, someone had this on a "femme revenge" list, and i'm not sure i really get that because at least the way the story was told here, that's not really what it feels like. more like femme trauma. i dunno. would not recommend.
