Secret Mall Apartment (2024)a moving, very human, pointless (complimentary), inspiring antidote for these times where most of us live under a techno-fascist monarchy. connect with humans you love and give a shit about people and other beings and do what you want with your limited time here on this earth. this isn't what i would do with my time on the earth, but it was incredible to witness. i am such a sucker for stories told out of this flavor of archival footage. the home movie come to life feel, i guess. fuck malls, fuck capitalism, fuck those bootlickers in suits. honestly, maybe i just love this so much because like michael townsend, i too am trespassed from at least one local mall and continue to enter that mall (those malls) freely whenever i wish. long live all the complete weirdo freaksss. p.s. it is crucial that they discussed how their white skin enabled this story to unfold. without that, it would have felt like kind of a sham to me. the explanation is brief, but i think effective.
