Four Good Days (2020)

preppy pretty girl and avid zionist date-rape apologist mila kunis stars alongside the stapler guy from office space to deliver one of the most horrific, cliche, and disrespectful narratives on addiction i've seen. garbage. (for the record, this was even worse than watching reese witherspoon butcher her role in wild. casting matters.) i almost dnf this, but for some reason couldn't stop myself from watching the train wreck. admittedly there are a few three minute segments of this movie that are like three point five or four stars, it's just that the eleven minute segments in between them are negative two stars. i think if i knew that only addicts were ever gonna see this, i might even be okay with it. (except for the fucking totally random transphobia scene in the middle of it that's pretending to be trans acceptance, dunno that's the only way i know how to explain it. it's bizarre.) the problem is that there is so much bigotry woven into this, but it's masquerading as something much more benign and benevolent. again, that's the only way i know how to explain it. people who hold the views of addiction presented by the narrator of the film are part of the problem i guess is what i'm trying to say.
