could not have happened to a better group of maga con artists. /s this was a super interesting story, if not incredibly hard to watch at times. on one hand, mentally ill people deserve compassion. on the other hand, these people are all gleeful swindler, new age neo-nazis...so...? ...and on one hand, i'm glad this was a fairly unbiased documentary. on the other hand, how can you tell this story without commenting on how much harm all these people cause...without questioning why white, american fascists are specifically so susceptible to narcissistic cons like this. seems kinda negligent tbh. truly terrifying that these are the kind of people running america at this point. incredibly disturbing to think that anyone can consider orange hitler spiritual, but lots of spiritual and religious people are into abuse, and genocide, and rape, so in that way i guess it kinda checks out. don't watch this before bed, it gave me the weirdest dreams.
