a review of 造梦之家

pretty cute overall. gabriel labelle is incredible. movie magic! kinda awesome just being immersed in the passion and creative process (and sometimes scrappiness) of making movies. those parts...and the wonder, awe, curiosity (and again, PASSION) that accompanied them...were genuinely pretty cool. too much of the narrative is lost in the convoluted mashing together of the movie magic passion and the drama of the spielberg family. the family stuff never really gripped me, and spielberg beats us over the head with some of the traumas and conflicts too many times. this man definitely has some mommy issues. overall though definitely an interesting and worthy watch.
