a little too much deus ex machina for my liking, and requires a bit too much suspension of disbelief. the concept is cool. the acting is ok at times. the camera is often quite nice. honestly kinda a sucker for low budget sci-fi that acknowledges and works around its limitations. but the writing. oh man the writing. i guess this is what happens when two dudes write a film about female grief? starring their sister? wild world we live in. p.s. why didn't we get to see more kill scenes? especially the one from the opening scene.
