a review of 谋杀疑案2

Decently better than the first one? Don't get me wrong - its still slop - and its still so fucking sure of itself and its still an Adam Sandler movie. But unlike - for example - the 2017 adaptation of murder on the orient express - the action in this all feels motivated. Sometimes you just wanna watch a trashy movie and this was that. Half a star off for it being less of a murder mystery though, which wouldn't be a problem, if that wasn't the fucking title. You go into a movie titled "Murder Mystery 2" because you want some derivative Murder Mystery slop. As an aside - me and roommate decided on this movie over another because surely it would be the less transphobic of the two by virtue of being from this decade - spoiler - we get a joke about adam sandler wearing womens underwear in the first 5 minutes - so - L for that
