Top Gun: Maverick - Review
I fucking hate this movie - I would give it 2 stars if I could. I was so fucking confused how the modern reboot would be ranked substantially higher than the original - I'll tell you how
- an actual fucking plot
- no (overt/explicit) misogyny (theres plenty subtextual but that was never going to be different)
- action scenes i actually gave a fuck about I feel like the amount I want to dock this movie for being really good department of war propaganda is counter weighted by how fucking fun this was to watch in a proper theater. A lot of the shots reminded me of the Star Wars Trilogys (og prequel and sequels) and those movies don't hold a fucking candle. Just an exhilarating movie
