finished watching The Shining
i fell asleep- i’m not sure that’s a criticism of the film but like- its a movie where you need to be utterly engrossed to really appreciate it and with how utterly engrained this movie is into the culture- ive seen variations on every scene multiple times over. it was not innately compelling
