a review of 玩具总动员4

I’m not offended by the ending, I actually like it as an idea, but I’m not convinced the movie earned it. I also really like Forky as a character, but I wish the movie revolved more around what made him special and his suicidal tendencies. I don’t think you can realistically do both, and it did a good job splitting the difference, but it leaves this one feeling less thematically rich than the Andy trilogy. It doesn’t feel like a cash grab or a dud, just not quite the same heights. Oh also it’s drop-dead gorgeous. They turned on RTX.
