读过《How to American》 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑
本来就是自己读的有声书，开头觉得太像脱口秀的加水延长版，作为移民融入的经历其实也波澜不惊没啥大事，而且书中也没有用实例 backup Jimmy 所说对脱口秀事业的热爱，让人一直觉得只不过是个运气好随波逐流也 made it 的社畜，跟刘思慕那本《We Were Dreamers》相比东亚家庭伤痕文学的伤痕程度也轻很多，那本更配得上这个副标题。但是到了 strip club DJ 的部分就开始有趣了起来，拍《Patriots Day》和其后几部电影对银幕上的 asian stereotype 解读（虽然他本人也在别处说过很多遍了），再到最后返乡对移民和人分认同的影响，一下把主题升华了，跟隔壁刘思慕那本的虎头蛇尾就形成鲜明对比了。
