Brilliant two CD compilation spotlighting the classic recordings from Asian divas of the '30s. During the pre-war years, the Asian music industry was becoming more successful with each passing year. Unfortunately, the many great artists and their recordings were not successful in America outside small Asian communities located in major cities across the country. Disc One features 13 new modern remixes of these legendary tracks, while Disc Two features 18 original recordings from this forgotten era. Includes cuts from Cui Ping, Woo Ing Ing, Poon Sow Keng, Koo Mei and many others. EMI.
