a review of 透明人

look, verhoeven himself might regret ever making this (and that third act proves his point). but he’s one of the few directors who would look at the premise of invisibility and go straight to the murkier implications. add to that vfx that still hold up shockingly well and, yes, i still love this.  i should start a “movies i loved as a dumb child and appreciate way more as a less-dumb adult” list. hollow man is a first ballot entry.
