insane just how good David Howard Thornton is as Art. Instant fan.  i don't know how, based from reactions and cult status, this now-franchise isnt seen as this generation’s SAW. at least, i havent seen the parallels made elsewhere. similar reactions, boundary pushing and even down to the almost nauseating cinematography ( which, impressively? was shot on RED and somehow looks like 2010 Youtube shot on a Canon 5D Mkii— unsure on if this is a positive but it somehow works in a straight-to-video grindhouse way)
