a kid much too complicated to unpack in the space of under two hours. which is wild to consider his career really lasted all of 4 years, and his mainstream presence half of that.  a genius in the making was also a certified monster.  there's an opportunity in X's story to tactfully explore themes of mental health, and environmental makeups, and the justice system, domestic abuse, and even the soundcloud era. trying to pack all of it in a single two hour doc makes it feel like speed running a narrative and missing crucial checkpoints.
