观看过程中多次动容落泪，圣严师父的许多珍贵影像是之前在法鼓山其他纪录片中没有看到过的。结合了动画、场景再现、历史影像及现在时采访等多种表现形式，以对“本来面目”和生命尊严的发现及开示串起了师父平凡却波澜起伏的一生，令我回想起《雪中足迹》《归程》和《法源血源》这几本师父自传里的片段。庄严的法鼓山是因师父及信众的愿力而起，就连我这样从没与师父谋面的海外信徒能在学佛之初便一直不偏正信，也是由于师父深厚的慈悲愿力。还能再说什么呢？唯有从圣严师父的著作——亦即其法身舍利——当中继续汲取营养，在正法的道路上勉力前行。
