戈达尔的野心太大了，这哪里是电影史，分明是他以影像书写的二十世纪西方文明史。经他选择的画面和声音在经过重新剪接并配以字幕和画外音之后，神奇地充满了力量感。好在分了8集可以慢慢看，假如一下看266分钟估计会受不了这么大力度的思想冲击。
