角色和情节都不是我喜欢的类型，但作者技巧性构思与安排很惊艳（对我来说的确不算worth the hype）。读着读着让我想起差不多同时代的Shirley Jackson，尤其是The Haunting of Hill House——Loneliness was a shared theme; menace, claustrophobia.
