A kaleidoscopic interpretation of Bach's Goldberg Variations on the accordion! The accordion has tonal possibilities that transcend those of the piano and harpsichord, providing the listener with a new sonic experience. Denis Patkovi´c is a young accordion virtuoso eager to explore and redefine the instrument's capabilities and horizons. In this unique interpretation, Patkovi´c includes a series of musical interludes--specifically conceived for insertion into Bach's score--composed by Finnish composer Jukka Tiensuu.
