看过《乔治·卡林的美国梦》 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
整部片在讲，what makes George Carlin the George Carlin. 我同意其他豆友说的，GC不会喜欢"GC's American Dream"这个标题，但我不认为American Bullshit更能代表他。也许George Carlin's Dream会更贴切，毕竟他本质上还是一个斗争到底的idealist，而国家这个made up idea对GC来说并不是个identity上重要的标签，正如HBO为他选得列侬这首歌 “Bring on the Lucie”suggests的：
We don’t care what flag you’re waving
We don’t even want to know your name
We don’t care where you’re from Or where’ you are going
All we know is that you came
Free the people now
Do it do it do it
他女儿对他看得很透彻: "If you've really given up, then why the fuck do you get on stage? Why do you bother? Like really? [...]"
