A traveler at an inn is harassed by a mischievous devil in his room.

A silly-looking composer attempts to compose. He then falls asleep, and dreams of all manner of bizarre nonsense.

A photographer has an accident which not only screws up his lab but dumps a great deal of debris into the street below, causing general chaos.

In a corner of the garden we see an ornamental fountain. An old professor comes along, looking for a nice spot where he can teach his pupils. Finding the fountain to his liking he goes after his scholars. A mysterious person who has noticed the old man, by means of a balloon, a handkerchief and a coat, constructs a peculiar figure, doing a lot of tricks at the same time.

As scene as pleasing as incomprehensible. A juggler summons two chairs, which come to the stage jumping and twirling around. Across the back of these chairs the operator places a sheet of glass on which he lays a box about four inches high. He then takes a table cover, with his servant's help, rolls it up and from the centre emerges a lady, beautifully dressed. At the juggler's order she jumps in the box, in which she completely disappears.

A Jew who mocked Jesus on the cross is visited by a devil and an angel.

A gentleman is here shown partaking of a little lunch of bread and cheese, and occasionally is seen to glance at his morning paper through a reading glass. He suddenly notices that the cheese is a little out of the ordinary, and examines it with his glass. To his horror, he finds it to be alive with mites, and, in disgust, leaves the table. Hundreds of mites resembling crabs are seen scurrying in all directions. A wonderful picture and a subject hitherto unthought of in animated photography. Notable for being the first science film made for the general public.

Not much of a plot. A couple is menaced by some sort of bizarre religious cult. Then they're saved.

Into a photography studio full of large fantastic machines steps an elderly couple. The bearded proprietor explains the equipment and gives them a demonstration: he starts machines whirring, and projects a painting of three women onto a large screen; suddenly the women begin to move. The customers are impressed. First the women sits in the special seat: she's projected onto the screen, and her good nature comes out in the laughing image. Then it's the man's turn, but the machine discloses a vastly different nature in him. Will his reaction threaten our proprietor's inventions?

A man in a silk top hat stands in front of an empty aquarium. He pours water into his hat and goes fishing, hooking a small one. He bec omes a hobo and catches more and more fish from the hat. Then he starts pulling out rabbits. The backdrop becomes the sea, and a mermaid appears. She flirts and beguiles us. The mermaid becomes a woman who leaves the sea and joins the magician, who becomes Neptune.

In this extremely interesting picture we see the fishermen in their work of catching fish with nets and dragging them in by the ton. The first picture shows them drying and mending their nets and making ready to cast them. Next we see the beautiful harbor and their departure for the fishing banks. The men at the galleys pulling the big boats out into the stream and lowering their nets. Then we see them dragging them and throwing the fish into the boats by the thousands, setting sail and returning to land with their wonderful cargo of all kinds a sizes of fish. This film is educational and those who are fortunate enough to see it can gain a great deal of knowledge, for it gives all the principal details of fishing as a large enterprise.
