香港錄像藝術家許雅舒繼描繪佔中運動的《風景》後，延續社運主題並積極試探敘事的可能性，《日常》融合了劇情、紀錄與歷史切片，刻劃香港人於社會動盪下的命運，跟著真實人物、虛構角色、新聞、舊聞剪報，重現已逝去的記憶和歷史，記錄下歷經狂風暴雨，依然等待陽光普照的日常。
