华语电影方面，蔡明亮导演的《日子》获得LGBT泰迪熊奖评审团奖，这也是主演李康生第13次入围欧洲三大电影节，成为入围欧洲三大电影节次数最多的华人演员。
宋方导演的《平静》获论坛单元艺术电影院联盟CICAE奖。贾樟柯的导演处女作《小武》则在本届柏林电影节上举行了4K修复版全球首映。
