Eventually a man who worked for the Cartel, who is in an American prison, offers to help them take down the Cartel. So another Federal Agent poses a money launderer and the try to take the Cartel down.

Daniel Barrière essaye de suivre une ligne de vérité dans le récit assez incohérent de Sonia. Au début il ne fait que vérifier certains détails jusqu'à ce qu'il reçoive non seulement des menaces mais encore quelques coups de manche de pioche.
