Florence et Bruno pensaient avoir enfin trouvé l'équilibre du couple avec enfants quand soudain ils doivent faire face à une nouvelle menace : les parents ! C'est d'abord la belle-mère Monique, la mère de Bruno, qui débarque. Elle s'est cassée la jambe et ne peut plus se débrouiller seule. Son fils lui propose tout naturellement de l'accueillir jusqu'à son rétablissement. Puis c'est au tour du beau-père Henri, le père de Florence, qui vient d'être quitté par sa compagne. Devenu S.D.F., il déprime à mort. Sa fille ne peut que lui offrir l'hospitalité. Les habitudes de Florence et de Bruno sont bousculées mais ils restent optimistes.
