Today I looked at a rug and reveled in the human urge to make cool little shapes and patterns.
I think that's #3GoodThings. Rugs, humans, and patterns.

Many here were kind enough to follow my posts about Mom. She passed on Sept. 5, shortly after admission to the best hospice in our city.
Mom was ready, beyond ready, to go. Her last days were comfortable, pain-free, and peaceful. In spring we'll scatter our parents' ashes, together, over fields of beautiful wildflowers, back to the earth and the great cycle of days to which we all belong.
Closing out a life takes a shocking amount of time & energy, but we're in a good headspace.

1) I have a #fountainpen problem. Although I have lost track of how many I accumulated, I lost one. Left it somewhere while traveling. The good thing is that I had a *perfectly good excuse* to buy another one.
2) I commute on a bicycle *and* I wear a suit to work. There are very few bicycle messenger-style garment bags. Or maybe only one. And #Henty upgraded their Wingman this week. My 10-12 year old one has holes in it, which gave me a *perfectly good excuse* to buy the new one. 🤞Hoping it’s as good and durable as the last one.
3) Watched kiddo’s #RenaissanceFaire videos from the weekend - including a joust. They did not have that when I was her age!
