A photograph of an ibis flying in the sky. The bird is centre frame, and the photograph is taken at a distance, so the bird takes up only a relatively small portion of the image. The bird's body is outstretched with its long beak pointing forwards and its feet pointing backwards, and its wings are in the downward stroke of a flap. The tips of the feathers on its wings are black, as is its head and feet, and it is otherwise white. The feathers on its back are slightly off-white, perhaps due to colouration of maybe it is a little dirty. The feathers on its wing, particularly those on the end of the wing, appeare to be long individual feathers and almost make the shape of an opened hand-held fan in the way that they overlap and come back to a point at the "elbow". The sky in the background is blue with a some very flat white cloud.
