#NowPlaying Barre Phillips / Mike Bullock - At Home
I’d almost forgotten about this wonderful album of 6 improvised solo bass pieces, recorded in 2019 in Phillips’ home in France. The resonance of the old stone chapel adjoining his house is remarkable, and Mike’s notes about how it came to be and the recording itself only add to the atmosphere of it all.
