Popped up the garden to pick some kale for tonight’s meal and noticed that this carder bee was having a nap in a flower.
I left it alone after checking it was just asleep (it’s abdomen was moving)

A fuzzy orangy bumblebee napping in a purple flower. The bee has it’s wings folded on it’s back and the bee is holding on to the anthers inside the tube of the flower. The points of the petals are visible around the bee though the flower is not much bigger in diameter than the bee. The background is out of focus green vegetation.
