Bee
Everybody quiet down now and get some sleep.
‘Sweet dreams till sunbeams find you
Sweet dreams that leave all worries behind you
But in your dreams
Whatever they be
Dream a little dream of bees…’

I was in the mood for some soft and dreamy pastel colors, so I painted this little pastel bird. Enjoy!

Summertime, and childhood: there was time to think and dream, to stare at a flower and wonder, to stroll through a green grassy meadow and be in a place of magic and enchantment.
To believe in things the adult world assured us was impossible.
And to be determined to reach for them anyway.

In three days it will be my birthday and I will enter a new year of my life. Children my age dream of a cake🎂, a party, and gifts, and this day will be special for them. As for me, all I wish for is to provide decent living conditions for my family, to cover my school fees, buy a school uniform, and have a decent meal. Please, if you are able to grant my wish and make this possible, I will never forget you. 🙏😔
