This is an abstract black and white photo in portrait format of the tail section of the futuristic composite Beechcraft Starship aircraft. Tucson, Arizona (2013).

Centred in the photo is the white tail section of this futuristic aircraft. The camera is located about two metres aft of the aircraft, angled along the fuselage, one metre above the ground and with the aircraft filling most of the height of the photo. Rising from the base of the photo is the ventral tail (the tail is mounted below the fuselage, not above as is normal) About half way up the tail are two small square white horizontal fins or aerials. The aft section of the fuselage tapers into a cone with the ventral tail smoothly fairing into the cone with a small white navigation light fixed to the point. To the left and right of the tail are the tips of the two feathered propellers, one either side. The propeller blades are black with two white stripes near the tips. Forward of the propellers is the white streamlined fuselage with five stripes extending along the upper section, one set of stripes on either side. The wings are fixed to the base of the fuselage with only about one metre of wing visible in the photo, the rest is out of view to the left and right of the image. Below the aircraft is a bold and dark shadow showing the wings to the rear of the aircraft, the fuselage in the middle and the two canards at the front. Above the plane is a clear and cloudless sky graduating from light grey to black towards the top of the image.
