The fawns are about five months old now, and usually venture off by themselves. But today they all got together for a family outing.

Black and white landscape format photo of a deer family in our backyard.

The family of four is 5 meters away. Two adult deer on the left, and two ~5 month old fawns on the right. The adult farthest left is lying down facing toward, and looking directly at the camera with mouth open as if its trying to say something. The adult deer to the right is lying down facing right, and also seems to be mouthing something.

The fawn farthest right is standing facing left with left hind leg raised to scratch its left ear. The fawn to the immediate left is lying down facing the camera at the top of a small landscape berm cutting horizontally across the middle of the photo. It also has it's mouth open as if in mid-speech.

The berm is lined with a living four tree fence spaced evenly apart.
