Looks like one of my friends is hitting their breaking point with Windows. They are considering Mint. This is not a distro I have direct experience with but I know its one of the distros that might be good.

Is there any good guides/articles that I could link them to, which are oriented towards Windows > Mint "conversion"?

They are also a gamer and have concern that maybe they are going to run into issues playing those games on a Linux machine. I know that alot of games run on Linux just fine, but Im gonna see if I can ask him what games he plays .

I recently pulled out my older Canon digital camera and the first thing notice is how tactile it is, in comparison to this stupid Motorola phone. I think I'll start using that as my camera again. It's not the highest quality camera, but it is equal to the phones camera quality. With that being said, I know there are photographers here. What is a "good" point and click camera that won't break the bank?

awa #duckduckfedi, does anyone have any experience with running xwiki? is it decent enough (outweighing its java ee stench & footprint) for a smol org as a documentation (principally) and also non-real-time discussion (pertaining to particular topics/tasks/projects, like wikipedia talk pages) platform, or are there some better tools for that (two *well-integrated* tools are fine too)? (no, discourse didn't feel good enough for the documentation part)
