Hooptober hoops on, also this #FilmFriday. Three favourites this week, a nice break from the mediocre swamp I (temporarily?) was stuck in.
Mani Kaul's hauntingly beautiful ghost romance दुविधा [Duvidha] (1973) is a gem.
이어도 [Ieoh Island] (1977) went places! I cannot get over the melodrama in Korean cinema, otherwise this would've been a 4/5.
Psyched by the 4D Witch (A Tale of Demonology) (1973). Whooo boy! Ugly people having ugly sex accompanied by Holst's Planets while a bitch witch watches.
