Paramount+ just released a special Strange New Worlds Short Trek: "Science Fiction."
While exploring an uncharted planet the Enterprise crew discover the ruins of an alien city. A strange disease afflicts the away team and Spock attempts to decipher alien texts to find a cure.
Showrunner Henry Alonso Myers explains, "This is a stretch from our usual genres but we think the fans will like it. As a Short Trek we aren't risking too much."
