GitHub has added a setting so you can disabled the "Show Copilot" visibility.

(I probably won't release any new code on GitHub since I've move most of my stuff to @Codeberg but I still need to use GitHub for work.)
📢 Important announcement! #BotKit's #GitHub repository has moved to a new home! 🏠

Interesting goings-on in the [ #Snarfed / #Bridgyfed ] #Github:
"Switch #Bluesky to opt out? (Issue #1471)"
This, from Peter Cottle (pcottle - Code monkey on Threads 🐵) who is actually a #Threads dev
"@snarfed thoughts on making a post on bluesky to solicit opinions? Maybe posting from the bridgy fed account + soliciting reposts?
I just want to know what the wider community thinks (even if there is some selection bias)"
The gist of the convo is whether to make Bluesky users opt-out of being bridged over to Mastodon, or continue as opt-in (each user makes their own personal choice)
In other words, will (new) Bluesky accounts automatically be OPTED-IN to being bridged over to Mastodon (possibly without their knowledge) or continue as OPT-IN: requiring a specific decision/action by new users
