A long shot but it doesn't hurt to ask (or does it...)?

Between March 2008 and March 2009 I watched a horror movie from the 70s or 80s at a small horror film festival in Barcelona (*not* Sitges). It involved a traumatised boy going through some shit. Whenever he had some sort of flashback, the whole audience would chant "Trauma! Trauma! Traumal". I have no idea what the original language would be; it may have been dubbed. It *may* have been Estigma (1980) but I don't know if that movie is known for the audience chanting and I'm pretty sure the boy was younger, maybe about 10. Anyone? The movie and/or the name of the festival?
