A high-angle view of a rocky canyon with a bright blue stream flowing through its base. The stream moves over rocks and through dense greenery at the bottom of the gorge. Steep, rocky cliffs covered in moss, ferns, and various trees surround the water. A narrow walking path is carved into the side of the cliff, where a few people are walking.

FYI The video is a Throwback Thursday to September 2022, and a fabulously varied week in Madeira.

A view of the Municipal Square in Funchal, Portugal. A wave-like pattern of black and white tiles (calçada portuguesa) covers the foreground leading up to the grand, two-story Funchal City Hall building with a central tower. A tall, ornate fountain stands in front of the building and mountains rise in the distance behind it under a blue sky at golden hour.
