Possibly of interest to you #WatchParty people: "VRChat streaming. Tool to stream anything (e.g. #Emby / #Plex / #Jellyfin / #YouTube etc.) to #VRChat without hustle."
finished watching The Pool
I can't believe I endured through the whole string of preposterous plot devices. I wanted to stop but couldn't.
Check your trigger warnings before you watch it, if you do watch it, which you shouldn't .
Then again, what if you end up trapped in an empty swimming pool with a crocodile? Would you spend your final moments regretting not having seen the movie about your exact same ordeal? And would this movie have provided useful ideas to help you survive? No. In fact, this movie not only won't help anyone in any situation, instead it's making me want to throw myself into an empty pool, with twenty hungry crocodiles. Head first.
WTF, did I kind of enjoy this?
Send help.

Renewed #Introduction :
I'm a published #manga artist and illustrator based in Japan.
I mainly create original work.
Here, I share my #art , things that come to mind during the creative process, and whatever else I feel like posting.
I also love #movies , #music , #fashion , and culture in general, so I sometimes post about those interests and little moments from everyday life.
Come say hello! I'd love to connect with you here.
Hope you enjoy my posts!
The weekend is here! What are your plans?
We continue with Super Metroid on Sunday.
Offline, one of us is watching a mystery movie. Another is flying to a baby shower. The rest of us are playing Unicorn Overload, Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, and the Castlevania: Belmont's Curse demo.
Folks, it is now an hour-ish until #MONSTERDON the weekly monster movie watch party. If you want to avoid a bunch of goofy toots by some movie-watching nerds, best set up a hashtag filter.
If you want to join in, this week we're watching HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL (1959) part of our spooky season of Vincent Price movies. C'mon, it's a hoot :D
The flick's available free with ads over on Tubi: https://tubitv.com/movies/100008717/house-on-haunted-hill
Or you can download from Archive.org over here: https://archive.org/details/HouseOnHauntedHillWidescreenVideoUpgrade
Just hit play at the top of the hour and toot along! See you there!
LA BOLA NEGRA
The line delivered at one of the most emotional moments in the story had everyone laughing out loud in the theatre: “A faggot’s heart is an ocean full of secrets.”
FLOW
Beautiful storytelling without uttering a single homo sapiens word.
SPRING, SUMMER, FALL, WINTER... AND SPRING
Too in-your-face allegory in a picturesque location.
DRIFTER
Berlin queer scene drama.
Folks it is now about an hour until #MONSTERDON the weekly monster movie watch party! Best set up a hashtag filter if you want to avoid it.
If you'd like to join in, this week we're continuing our October of Vincent Price movies with THE BAT (1959), a murder mystery featuring money, criminals, and yes, you guessed it, bats!
The flick's available free with ads over on Tubi: https://tubitv.com/movies/351000/the-bat
Or you can download from Archive.org over here: https://archive.org/details/The_Bat.mpeg
In fact, the movie is solidly in the public domain, so you can actually watch it on Wikipedia if you want: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bat_(1959_film)
Any way you slice it, just hit play at the top of the hour and toot along! See you there!

Finally watched SG̲aawaay Ḵ'uuna (Edge of the Knife), the Haida language feature film. I am counting it as a horror movie for October because I have a very open definition, but a more accurate genre would be something like Haida storytelling and/or period drama with horror elements.
Nobody needs my thumbs up after all the accolades it already has, but I really enjoyed it! Looked fantastic, and had a compelling story.
I was unsure of my thoughts on Digger when I watched it, but the more it has sat with me the more I feel I liked it and am looking forward to a revisit soon.
But what films have you revisited at a later date and had a different opinion of (for good or bad)?

A LONG WINTER
This had strong moments, but somehow they don’t come together. It’s a hit-and-miss with Andrew Haigh.
LOOK BACK
I liked this adaptation a little bit more than the anime it’s based on. The signature Kore-eda touch elevated the story.
BEHEMOTH!
Pedro Pascal is born for this role. Great casting, and great performance.
CARRIE
Not necessarily doing a spooky season and not a horror fan, yet I watched and enjoyed this. Go girl!
THELMA & LOUISE
First rewatch in ~30 years. So 90s, and so cool. One of the few occasions I find Brad Pitt attractive.
I’VE COME AND I AM GONE
Cute little Turkish short showing a long lost Istanbul from 15 years ago.
NO GOOD MEN
Afghan romance/drama through a woman’s lens, literally.
SENTIMENTAL VALUE
Rewatched because why not. One of the best films of recent times.
