Rated Deep Purple in Rock 7/10

Bought this on vinyl from the first record store I hit once I got a record player, mainly because I was vaguely aware of it and the cover was cool. It's a perfectly fine bit of 70's rock but I can't say it gets taken down from the shelf all that often.

Rated On My Way to Where 7/10

Pretty decent folk pop with a monstrously cutting edge. If you ever want to hear what someone being murdered with a song sounds like, check out Beware of Young Girls, her takedown of Mia Farrow and her husband André, which might be the most brutal 'diss track' ever recorded.

This is probably a more rounded and better written album than On My Way to Where, but it's maybe lacking a little bit of bite.

Rated Master of Reality 10/10

People always talk about the first four Sabbath albums, and while I'm not doing Vol 4 down, this is clearly the peak, as far as I'm concerned, mainly down to the absolutely monstrous sound of it, which leaves Vol 4 sounding a little anemic, in comparison. But then I may just be biased due to the fact that at least half of the albums I own are trying to sound exactly like this one.
