Got my retro rock tune up tonight. Two chords with capo on the 5th fret. Em and A fingering shapes. Basically I just recorded a bunch of jam tracks, wrote some lyrics and pieced it into a song. The lyrics are about my sweetie Wendy. Been together 39 years now. The song is my Valentine’s Day gift for her. The pic is our old ‘69 VW bus on the way back from long beach on the west coast in the 1980’s. Good times. #music #songwriting #recording #gearsquad #guitar https://youtu.be/KgMphVUexN8

[delayed post] Midweek New Music Roundup :: May 20th - 27th https://abuelaskpop.dreamwidth.org/77671.html

This week's listing features new music from SHOWNU x HYUNGWON, BIBI, Taemin (SHINee), can't be blue, Boyfriend, plus many more!

#Music #NewMusic #Kpop #KRock #KHipHop #KRnB #OSTs

Two screenshots in a distressed rainbow-hued frame (top and bottom bar only, blue to red left to right gradient) with a black to light grey slash from bottom left to upper right, the phrase Midweek New Music Roundup atop the divider. Above the bar, a young Korean man (Shownu of Monsta X) in a snug white graphic tee with a silver star lays spread out on a grey rug, eyes closed as if asleep. Below the slash, a Korean woman (soloist BIBI) lounges on a Thai beach in a teal bikini with yellow top and shorts, watching the ocean with a vintage orange enamle oscillating fan (unmoving) sitting beside her. Center bottom text reads May 20th - 27th.
