I am sure that they will blame ‘Deep State’ sabotage for this, but at least it went down at its mooring rather than relying on rescue from, say the RNLI… The very organisation being threatened by these sub moronic terrorists. Frankly given their competence it is best that they are not allowed out on the water.

A boat purchased by a far-right activist to interfere with Border Force operations in the Channel was accidentally sunk, The Times can reveal.

Daniel Thomas, who uses the name Danny Tommo, has been fundraising for his group Patriot Platform, which has caused havoc in Dover and Portsmouth.

But when his followers previously helped fund his purchase of a small rigid-hulled inflatable boat, it sank within weeks of him beginning to use it.

Thomas, who has previously been convicted of attempted kidnapping, has raised thousands of pounds through livestreaming himself at protests, confronting migrants and police.

He announced on X that his team had a boat in April, and called it the Patriot. But by June, he was crowdfunding again for the salvage of the boat, which had sunk in Littlehampton, West Sussex. At the time, Thomas claimed on his YouTube channel that it had sunk due to sabotage, potentially by left-wing activists.

However, The Times understands that the boat got into difficulty after developing mechanical issues at the mouth of the Arun river.

After Thomas left the vessel to go and retrieve a trailer, the boat started to sink in Littlehampton Harbour. A local yacht club reported it as a blockage to authorities who had to retrieve it.
